Senior Production Geologist & Project Asset Accountant

Senior Production Geologist x 2 ( Expatriate and Nigerian)
Location: US and Nigeria office
Salary: Dependent on experience
Reporting the technical director you will also interface with other senior managers and the board as well as external key stake holders.
Job Purpose:
- Subsurface Analysis and Static Model Building
- Development Planning
- Near-Field Exploration
Responsibilities and Key Objectives
- Production of Geoscience work.
- Reservoir characterisation.
- Reserve process and assurance.
- Sesimic interpretation.
- Volumetrics and reserve estimations
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 10 to 15 years of experience.
- Static modelling skill at mastery level.
- PETREL mastery skill level required.
- Volumetrics and reserve assurance knowledge is required.
- Seismic interpretation skill is critical.
- Multi-disciplinary communication and integration experience
- Petroleum Engineering integrated studies team experience is preferred.

Project Asset Accountant
Location, Nigeria Lagos
You will be working as part of a dynamic Finance team and will regularly interface with other teams in Project & Asset Management, Senior Managers , JV partners, and Financial institutions.
As part of a team you will have responsibility for:
- Managing and maintaining the business controls framework and ensure controls are in place to address associated risks
- Provide budgeting, commitment and budget change control on the Company’s production assets.
- Coordinate the assurance processes for the Asset/Joint Venture.
- Facilitate investment proposal process management
- Provide cost structure reporting, analysis and management information.
- Provide day to day business advice (financial, controls) to ensure the integrity of spending in
Responsibilities and Key Objectives:
- Accountable for finance services to the Asset
- Timely reporting of performance against the business plans.
- Financial/ Budgetary responsibility: Minimum of $80m in the first year (this figure is expected to grow)
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Previous industry knowledge required.
- A Chartered Accountant with 8+ years in the oil and gas industry.
- Minimum 4-years’ experience providing support on a producing asset in an oil company.
- Minimum 3-years’ experience providing support on the development of a field from feed to construction.
- Robust CAPEX & OPEX budget management.
- Ability to adapt to fast pace working environment.
